#1024 TECHNIQUES: Flex tube tree trunks

Today we're looking at an awesome tree trunk technique by Ralf Langer. He utilises flex tubes and combines them with SNOT bricks such as the 1x1 modified brick with studs on all sides (otherwise known as the Travis brick). These are slotted onto the tubes after they've been gently bent to correct shape, and finally plates, slopes and other pieces are used to create the bark. The end result is a trunk that you can shape into a natural position and adapt for a range of trees as shown.
