#1172 TIPS: Dynamic minifigure posing

Minifigures are one of our favourite things about LEGO, with their detailed designs and ability to add life to MOCs. Today we're looking at how you can position the minifigures in your builds to create dynamic and interesting poses and scenes.

There are many different ways you can pose your minifigures, but to get the most realistic and interesting poses you'll need to detach the arms or legs or replace them with bricks. Often you'll need to use small bits of temporary adhesive such as blue tac to hold the parts in place.

Another thing worth mentioning is when positioning your minifigures for regular walking, make sure to have the arms swinging, and in opposite directions to each other and the legs (e.g. the left arm opposite direction to the left leg).
