#1257 SET REVIEW: Ninjago Legacy – Part 2

Today we’re sharing the next part of our Ninjago Legacy wave review by looking at 71736 Boulder Blaster and 71737 X-1 Ninja Charger. We were sent this by LEGO but our view is unbiased. We aim to provide a unique review from the perspective of a MOC builder and fan of building techniques.

Overall, 71736 Boulder Blaster is a very fun with a great design for the barrel. The other parts of the set are less desriable though; it lacks some vital figures from the Ninjago season and the overall part palette is either love or hate.

Again, 71737 X-1 Ninja Charger has some fun features, but we the mechanism for releasing the bike from the car doesn’t work well for us and we’ve heard many others say the same. It’s not accurate to the show and while still looks sleek, for a Legacy set it should be more accurate than the previous set, not less. It also lacks some vital figures but does feature some good parts such as the newer slopes.
