#144 TECHNIQUES - Clip connections

Clips are easy to use and are great for attaching to hinge pieces, rods or other elements that have a bar. They also have another use for advanced builders, where they attach to plates or tiles. Although this is classed as a "illegal" technique as the clip is put under strain it's not meant to be put under, it can be a very useful connection for certain situations.

It's used to create very thin surfaces of just 1 plate and to angle the plate horizontally or vertically. Therefore it is useful in a variety of situations where you need that side view of a plate for it to remain thin, compared to the width of a brick.
