#149 Sunday's SET ANALYSIS: 9500 Sith Fury Class Interceptor

The set we will analyse today is the Sith Fury Class Inceptor, which was released in 2012 and is highly collectable thanks to the exclusive Darth Malgus minifigure. As well as this highly sought after minifigure that sells for around £30, there are a number of interesting and clever techniques used in this set to create the unique shape of the angles wings, so lets take a look at them:

1. Technic positioning - liftarms and linker pieces are used to position the wings at angles that would be hard to do using any other technique (see picture)

2. Hinges - used for the accessing the interior of the cockpit and storage area and to allow the wings fold out

3. Rails - used in the storage for cargo to be moved in and out

4. Transparent tiles - contrast to the main colour scheme of black and grey
