Versatile, modern, is there anything this part can’t do? The Plant plate is a great piece to use in trees, bushes, vines, and foliage—but that isn’t its only purpose. Swipe through to see the ways builders are using this part!
Ted Andes on Flickr uses it in bulk to create effect, creating the texture of a mass of climbing vines. Meanwhile, @swandutchman uses it to create a brilliantly accurate rendition of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s varactyl steed! Marcel V sticks with the plant theme, but with a creative twist—using a sideways (SNOT) technique to create grass! And @grantdvs1 uses the hollow stud as a connection point, putting the plate on its side to create cute but easily recognisable foliage!
Plus, the part has been used in all sorts of ways in official sets—from sandwich lettuce to salamander feet, to dragon gills and aster flowers.
