#151 TECHNIQUES - Brick wall with offset tiles

This brick wall involves 2 techniques to position tiles at offsets to one another, creating gaps between them that show the placement of the bricks in a wall, held together with "cement".

One of the techniques that is used is SNOT or Studs Not On The Top, as 1x1 w/studs n the side are placed specifically on every other studs and allow the tiles to be placed sideways.

The tiles themselves are offset, and this is possible because they have no "tubes" in them, which plates or bricks have (see picture). This means they can be positioned any where on the 1x1 brick w/stud on side and can create small gaps to show the cement in the bricks.
