Today, we take a look at the techniques used in this intricate and vibrant scene by builder Robert 4168 on Flickr. From the organic texture of the dark blue rooftiles, created using upside-down plates that are unconventionally ‘half-attached’, to the large rockwork and Studs Not On Top base—this build is full of creative and visually appealing techniques.
Check out the use of the A-shape wedge plate to create a watermill, and the wand parts attached to their sprue that form a rickety wooden fence!
Which of these techniques is your favourite? Have you used any of them in your own builds? Comment below and let us know!
