#1736 TECHNIQUES: Plate Mosaics

Today, we look at a fun use of a common piece: the plate! Plates can be used to make beautiful, artistic mosaics that can add flavour to any MOC or model.

Take a look at five examples of how to use plates to make mosaics and artwork in LEGO models. Whether as spray paint on buildings, in a rug, or as large-scale pictures or screens, using the sides of plates to create artwork is a useful technique to brighten up a scene.
