#228 TECHNIQUES - Brick bending

Today's post showcases an awesome Bluebird MOC, that utilizes the technique of brick bending to shape the wings.



As you can see from the pictures, the plates forming the wings are not actually attached completely, but they are connected so that is enough space to fit a 1x1 slope. This then angle the plates to create the shape of the wings. The connection looks to be very weak, but I still recommend this technique as it is a simple and easy way to create difficult shapes, and lets you avoid fiddling around with hinges or specialist pieces.
