Buildable droids have been a staple of LEGO Star Wars over the years... but doesn’t it feel like there’s someone missing? Well, @ron_mcphatty is here to pick up some of the slack with his chopper MOC!

For such a small build, this model packs some serious detail! The greebling on the body is very accurate. His head arms are fully poseable! The legs also have great articulation, making it a great build for both display and play! His third wheel is even retractable!

There’s some nice part usage and great techniques tucked away in this MOC too! An 88704 minifigure whip is used as a loose wire. 32002, one of the more overlooked technic elements, makes for a very accurate greeble!

Probably the most impressive part of the build is that it scales perfectly with this year's R2-D2! Check out post 75379 for our review.
