For the fourth time we look at piece 983 the Minifigure Hand!

#2457 FAVOURITE BRICK FRIDAY: 983 The Minifigure Hand – Revisited! Four MOCs are depicted: A brick build watch using the hand piece as a time pointer. By @drdoddo. A stunning blue forest, the hand piece gets used to create the vine-like leaves of a tree in combination with 1x2 tiles. By -soccerkid6 on Flickr. An underwater scene with a crashed plane and fish using hands as fins. By Josh on Flickr. A Micro build of a swing, which uses the hands as the ropes of the swing. By Bas van Houwelingen on Flickr.

The piece first released in 1982 with the first space men. Since then, it was in 6917 sets in 52 different colours. The three rarest are from Star Wars Minifigures: Zam Wesell has Sand purple hands in 1 set C3P0 has Chrome gold hands in 1 set Darth Vader has Chrome black hands in 1 set

An underwater scene with a crashed plane and fish using hands as fins is featured. By Josh on Flickr. This is an amazing small fish build. Just 3 different types of pieces (hands, 1 1x2 plate and one clip plate 6019) create something so well put together.

A stunning blue forest is being presented; the hand piece gets used to create the vine-like leaves of a tree in combination with 1x2 tiles. By -soccerkid6 on Flickr. The vine like leaves of the tree just use hands and tiles and it looks amazing!

These featured Warhammer builds use white hands as feathers and bones. Mother Ostankya custom figure with a thing from the woods. By @karp_brick. A Kiszlev winged hussar on a DUPLO Ice bear. By @jaskierthebard.

A brick build watch using the hand piece as a time pointer is one build. By @drdoddo. The Thunderjaw MOC featured is using hands for the guns in his face. By @edge_of_bricks.

The hands can be used as ropes or other fabrics as seen in these builds. A Micro build of a swing, which uses the hands as the ropes of the swing. By Josh on Flickr. A tiny castle with green hands on the roofs acting as flags. By Bas van Houwelingen on Flickr. A tiny AT-ST using hands as the guns on the sides of the vehicle. By @drdoddo.

A quite common, but still cool use for the hands is as bird beaks or as fingers on bigger hands. A build from the History of Poland series is shown. The swan uses an orange hand as its beak. By @jaskierthebard. Quirrel from Hollow Knight Build using the hands as the fingers of a bigger hand. By @redverse_.
