#335 TECHNIQUES - Brick placement

Thorsten has done an excellent job with this MOC on many things, but I particularly like his "brick placement", demonstrated in the stunningly detailed floor of the building and smashed window.

The floor is made up of various bricks positioned on their sides. Not all of them are attached, which allows Thorsten to create the lettering that is so perfectly integrated into the floor.

The smashed window shows great use of the techniques brick scattering, which is exactly what it says on the tin; scattering bricks, in this case 1x2 clear transparent bricks.
