This week's favourite brick is the 1x6x2 arch brick that, like many other pieces, has so many more uses than just an arch.
The arch itself has a indent in, which allows the placement of plates inside. Plates can also be slotted in sideways to the arches, as seen in Inthert's B-Wing MOC. These features allow for a variety of techniques and uses such as bridges, windows, circular decals and much more beyond their obvious use as arches.
Here is the piece on Bricklink:https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=15254&name=Brick,%20Arch%201%20x%206%20x%202%20-%20Medium%20Thick%20Top%20without%20Reinforced%20Underside&category=%5BBrick,%20Arch%5D#T=S&O={"iconly":0}
