If you've been following this page for a while or have been involved in the LEGO community, you'll know that trees are a major topic, simply because they can be done in many different ways.
Today's feature is a pine tree technique by Chris Maddison on Flickr. He has used a combination of bricks with studs on the sides, and attached cheese slopes to create the leaves. To simulate the shaping of the pine trees, he has used various plates to widen the leaves closer to the ground. This gives and nice effect, especially with the small gaps between each level.
