#398 Favourite Brick Friday: 27261 1x2 Modified Plate with Three Claws / Rock Fingers

As a LEGO Star Wars fan and collector, I was excited to see the new Porg set (75230) revealed this past week. I looked through the photos, and a brilliant part use jumped out at me.



That part was the 1x2 Modified Plate with Three Claws / Rock Fingers, which is fairly new (2017) and has appeared mostly in Nexo Knights sets as rock details.


In the porg set however, it is used to create the bird's textured fur. This is a great part use that utilizes the piece's shape perfectly, and, coupled with the other detailing on the back of the model, make me like the set a whole lot more.
