Today's technique is an incredible wall design by Grant Davis. It is part of his 'Mountainside Shrine' MOC, which you can check out on Flickr here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/93970753@N05/43790022331/in/dateposted-public/
He uses an incredible technique to create a detailed yet very study wall, where various bars and other circular parts are clipped to vertical bars at the back. The bars are attached together with clips, which eventually cover the whole wall. The result is a stunning texture that looks flimsy, but is actually incredibly sturdy; he can even turn the whole MOC upside and not a piece falls loose!
Check out this interesting video where Grant explains all of the techniques he uses: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_rd75ozMWI
I love this MOC so much, I'll be breaking down the some of the other technique used in this MOC tomorrow.
