#462 TIPS: Studio 2.0 Review

Despite my love of building with physical bricks, there are many advantages of building digitally even if its not everyone's cup of tea.

There are lots of softwares out there, but Stud.io by BrickLink has been my favourite for some time now. I was therefore pleasantly surprised when Studio 2.0 was announced and released for public use.

It's a very similar software to before but has definitely had a face-lift, and for the better. It also has some significant improvements in the form of a powerful new Instruction Maker and Photorealistic Renderer; two features I'm sure were heavily requested. On Studio 2.0, you can actually choose between the POV-Ray and Photorealistic Renderer, so even if you like the older renderings better you can still get them on 2.0.

However, be warned and make sure your computer/laptop is powerful enough to handle it. From what I've heard, a lot more crashes have been occurring or the program running slow. Having said that, go ahead and try it out for yourself; it's been working well for me and I'm loving it! What are your opinions on the new software?
