#465 TECHNIQUES - Streets of Copenhagen

This post was inspired by my trip to Copenhagen in April 2018 and includes two builds or design concepts that I hope to one day feature in a proper MOC of the city's beautiful streets.

The first build is a flooring technique that is pretty simple but accurately depicts the stone and pebbles. Technic bricks are used to position 1x1 plates in rows and modified bricks with studs on their side attach the 2x2 tiles.

The second recreates some of the natural elements of the streets and uses 1x2 hinge plates to create a surround around the shrubbery. 1x2 tiles make up the pavement and groups of 1x2 ingots in a lighter grey create a contrast.
