#493 TECHNIQUES: Stone slab flooring

Today's techniques uses the versatile 1x1 'cheese' slope, an incredibly useful pieces thanks to it's shape. When mosaics of the pieces are made, all kind of shapes can be produced, and this time ForlornEmpire on Flickr has used them for stone slab flooring. He's created a rectangle made up of 8 slopes, 2 squares which is roughly 3 studs in length and 1 and a bit in width. Therefore, tiles on their sides are used to fill in the gaps and keep the pieces secure.
