#525 TIPS: Prototype LEGO parts

I love seeing new LEGO parts as they are released in new sets, so you can imagine my excitement when I saw all of these 'new' pieces while browsing for technique on Flickr, and found this album by Walter Whiteside Jr.

Turns out these parts are actually prototype parts; they were made tested by The LEGO Group but have never been used in official sets. Some of them are very cool and would be very useful; if only they were actually official parts! Which is your favourite? It's got to be those clear slopes for me; think of the water techniques you could create!
