This week's favourite brick of the week is the link chain, a piece made up of interlocked links that makes them extremely flexible and able to give details to MOCs that regular bricks cannot.
There have been used in a unique way by Tim Schwalfenberg to create an attractive tree design, where the chains simulate the natural detail of tree trunks and branches. Check out his post on Flickr here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/112058573@N02/40187744181/in/feed?fbclid=IwAR2-un29jV7eajp-UKQBliTVhTrz7BZ5FwXj-KsoWZtPtwOzyYHcAlhhhiU
The piece's utility has been recognised by many builders, and for Joe Miller on Flickr, he decided to challenge himself to create 11 different MOCs featuring the chain. He created some fantastic models, but the stand-out for me has to be that microscale truck. Check out the full album here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/96739476@N04/albums/72157650918313929
