Today we'll looking at how you can create 2 different fields for your LEGO MOCs; this is a topic we've never covered before but it can be hard to know what pieces to use.
The first field is for grain and has been created by Tijger-San on Flickr, who uses a combination of 1x1 flower studs, 4L bars and technic axle pins. The technic axle does a good job of creating the texture of the grains and because of their thin profile, lots can be fitted into a tight space.
The second is a corn field by Fredrik Perman, also on Flickr, and uses 1x1 cylinders on top of plant flower stems; a simple construction that never the less accurately recreates corn fields.
