#662 TECHNIQUES: Large scale 'brick bending'

If you've been following this page for a while, you've probably seen some of the techniques we've shared that we call 'brick bending', where the bricks aren't exactly bent but positioned to create a curved or 'bending' effect by not being completely connected.

Today we're sharing some large scale examples of this by Jeff Sanders on Flickr, who is a true master of the brick bending art. By only using basic bricks such as 1x2 and 2x2 bricks, he has created some impressive structures. You can follow Jeff on Flickr here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/brickbending/with/16746079706/

So how could this be useful for your MOC building? You might not want to do it to this scale, but the concept of brick bending is great for creating any kind of curved surfaces. Check out all our post on brick bending here: https://www.tipsandbricks.co.uk/home/search/brick%20bending
