#76 TECHNIQUES - Advanced roofs

Roofs can be easy to make with just a couple of sloped bricks and then you're done. Well with today's technique we look at an advanced roof that has a great texture and has lots of flexibly for shaping.

The technique uses a combination of technic pins and connectors as well as clips and bar to finish off the sides. The technic pins are great for the roof as the angle can be changed easily due to the hinged connections between the two sides provided by the liftarm piece.

This build is also much better because it provides a unique bumpy texture of the pin connectors, which could suggest a real roof. The slight disadvantage is there is no conventional, easy way to attach the roof to regular bricks; but it would be easy to either just rest it on slopes or use the bars and clips to attach it.
