This week's favourite brick is one I definitely never thought I'd be sharing; it's Ninjago spinners! These tornado shaped pieces hold minifigures and are for children spinner toys, but Luis Peña on Flickr has utilised them for a different purpose.

Combining them with other transparent parts, he creates a flower vase and sunday glass; which both look incredible! The mix of colours in with the transparent tornado make for stunning glasses that really show you a piece has more uses than it's original intention. Check out Luis' post on Flickr here:
