#888 TECHNIQUES: Rockwork tutorial

We get often get asked for techniques to create realistic and natural-looking rockwork, because the truth is, it's very hard to build.

Luckily, Isaac Snyder a.k.a soccerkid6 has showcased how he creates his rockwork, providing the images pictured.

Layers of slopes are positioned in various directions to show the studs as well as smooth surfaces, creating contrast and texture. This is built up progressively with various sized slopes, and finished at the top with curved slopes to round off the top.
