#985 TECHNIQUE ANALYSIS: ‘SeaGate Isle' by Grant Davis

This week we're taking a closer look at a pirate themed build by Grant Davis. Although some might not be a fan of the simplistic water technique that we do personally like, there's no denying the stunning detail of the island, whether it be the lush greenery or intricate stone wall. Some great parts uses we noticed were the 4L bar in reddish brown and large skull pieces that first appeared in pirate sets in 2004. Our favourite part however has to be the rockwork, where sections of slopes are positioned 'randomly' by using mixel joints.
