CW: Harry Potter - #1395 SET REVIEW: 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit

Today we’re featuring our second review from the new wave of Wizarding World sets, a review of set 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit! We were sent this set by LEGO but our view is unbiased and we aim to provide a unique review from the perspectives of MOC builders and fans of building techniques. We score each set out of 100, giving 20 points each for a range of factors.

This set is one of the most unique we’ve seen so far, giving us two great locations and a lot of niche minifigures that all look and play incredibly well. The detail in the builds make for fantastic display pieces while the accurate minifigures will fit right in with even the best Harry Potter MOCs. The two buildings are fairly accurate, and while they take some liberties with their design to work in the simplified LEGO format, they look and play great.

This set is a surprise done right; an unusual scene that combines just the right blend of accuracy and aesthetics to be both memorable and worthwhile. While the value might not be there if you aren’t a big Harry Potter fan, if you’re even mildly interested in picking up this set, we recommend you give it a chance!
