#639 TECHNIQUES: Cheese slope + tile lettering

Today we're looking at how you can use cheese slopes and tiles to create compact yet readable lettering. The example is by qian yj on Flickr and perfectly illustrates how you can use these parts: https://www.flickr.com/photos/acgshow/40537538883/in/dateposted/

Firstly, it's important to know the dimensions of these pieces. The length of 1x2 tile is the same height as 5 plates, and 2 1x1 cheese slopes are also this height. Therefore, these pieces can be positioned in the wall and are the perfect size, and although they are not connected in any (simple) way, there are no gaps showing. Cheese slope are used letters such as N and tiles placed vertically and horizontally make up everything else.
