#1066 TECHNIQUES: Explosions using string

Today we're looking at how you can utilise LEGO string pieces alongside other parts to create dynamic explosion effects.

The first technique by wani_brick on Instagram uses string parts with bar sections, wrapping them around the Thanos big fig. 1x1 clips with crystals are then attached to these bar sections to give a surrounding energy effect. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBUv2juJY8j/

The second technique by Thorsten Bonsch uses a regular string piece and clamps it with transparent studs on either side. Octagonal plates and mechanical claws are then used to position the surrounding sparks. https://www.flickr.com/photos/xenomurphy/29147051281/in/album-72157670933691821/?fbclid=IwAR3ZSiEYNCfUCc80FsAIK6kptD-4kPy7T18hxXwx9ppoyn2B2Y8TML0n7Fo
