#1133 SET REVIEW: 80012 Monkey King Warrior Mech

Today we're reviewing another colourful Monkie Kid set: 80012 Monkey King Warrior Mech! We were sent this by LEGO to review but our view will be our own. We aim to provide a unique review from the perspective of a MOC builder and fan of building techniques and choose to score sets out of 100, giving 20 points each for a variety of factors.

Overall, it's one of our favourite LEGO Mech sets ever! It's really exciting to see so many new metallic gold pieces and although a lot of the red parts aren't typically useful for MOCs, it's a fun colour to get. There are numerous clever technique and part uses such as the new hilt pieces for the knees, and the set will sit proudly on our shelf.
