#1146 TECHNIQUE DISCUSSION: Flooring techniques

Flooring is the essential foundations of many models. But why use a standard base plate or just layers of tiles? Today we’re looking at some inventive ways to create flooring that becomes art in its own right, or produces amazing detailed textures and realistic looking materials.

Examples include using flat plates inserted on their ends into a baseplate to produce a parquet wood floor, or interlocking headlight bricks to produce grids for patterned floors.
