#1623 TECHNIQUE ANALYSIS: Fred's Adventures: The Portal by @forlornempire

“Enter the portal!,” the wizard said to Fred. As he approached the gateway and saw the talisman for the first time, only one thing crossed Fred’s mind:

“This portal would make for a great Tips&Bricks post!”

Today’s Technique Analysis analyses Eli Willsea’s build, “Fred’s Adventures: The Portal.” Using a relatively low number of pieces, Eli creates an interesting minifigure (or frog-figure) scale build. As part of a four-part series of Fred’s adventures, this scene is set in an earthly forest and is centred on the portal that Fred approaches. This build makes especially good use of dual wheel holders commonly used in official LEGO planes – they both make up the structure of the portal as well as connect it to the ground.
