The old manor forms the centrepiece. Visual anchors of the double wedge base include: a large tree on the right, the fountain, the lamp post to the left, and the flower bush in the back.

The base has three layers: the bottom one with bricks lying on their sides, the middle one with plates, and the retracted top mixing plates and tiles for the manor to sit on. The upper layers sit on lots of part 67329: they connect everything together and provide connections for the sideways bricks around the edges! The dispersed rocks across the first two layers also help to blend it all together.

Before we move on, there are some nice cast iron and plant details in the courtyard. A render image shows how the lamp post is built, notably with technic connectors and part 12885 paint rollers. The bird nest in the tree is made with 26066 minifig fur collar.

We now move to the front of the mansion. There are quite a few nifty connections under the arches, such as minifig skates 11253, and how 6060 fit perfectly beneath 2339. Superhero power blasts such as 27393 and 35032f are perfect for the fountain water. At the porch, cheese slopes are simply arranged into a pattern without being connected.

The round wall at the end of the left wing is a highlight. The two constituent quarters are built separately and sideways: each has 3 consecutive columns of handles on clips with intermittent cheese slopes locking the angle at 30°. The curved part is studless, so plates can be attached directly above. Ingots are built into the SNOT wall for texture.

Not only the ingots; the half-stud recess with jumpers create a natural weathered look for the manor walls. Small window 60592 is used to build a small wooden cart.

Most of the windows, doors, and windowsills are layered (sideways) plates framed by arches. The different facets of the roof come together with zigzagging cheese slopes in a very satisfying way.

On the right wing, upper floor glassless windows are built with tiles attached from the sides. Downstairs, arches again frame the recessed windows. The roof or awning between the two floors ends elegantly with the angle from the cheese slopes. There are plates attached to the underside of the arches.
