#270 TECHNIQUES - Slope-Panel Textured wall

Today's technique is from Simon NH on Flickr, who has put together a great design for a wall using 1x1 "cheese" slopes and 1x2 panels.

This clever technique involves SNOT (Studs Not On Top) 1x4 bricks, which are used to position the 1x2 panels at right angles to the ground. The spacing created between the panels is the perfect size for 1x1 "cheese" slopes to be placed in loosely, and provide a great texture to the wall. A variety of placements and colours of slopes can be used, and 1x1 plates can be thrown in their to give even more detail.
