Today I'll be sharing with you 2 SNOT techniques to create interesting pillar and column designs for your MOCs.
The first cylindrical pillar is made of a combination of bricks that are able to angle the 1x2 jumper plates sideways. This allows tiles to be attached and a cylindrical shape is created with a smooth surfaces and defined edges.
The second uses arrangements of SNOT bricks and 1x1 plates, that layer up the slopes evenly to create the overall shape of the pillar. The headlight brick and 1x1 modified brick with stud on the side have different indents, which allow for the smooth transition between each slope. The 1x1 plates in the middle can also create a pattern by using different colours.
