#417 TECHNIQUES: Intricate window design

Today's technique is a reasonably simple but highly sophisticated window design. It was designed by 'Britishbricks':

As I say, it uses some simple pieces, but in clever ways. The 1x1 modified plates with vertical clips are stacked to create an interesting texture, and regular 1x1 modified bricks with stud on the side are used to position the 1x1 slopes. They are separated by a small gap, because the height of a 1x1 brick is 3 plates and the width of the 1x1 slopes is 2.5 plates, and this creates an aesthetic gap.

These part uses coupled with the 1x2 masonry bricks make for a great design, even if it does use quite a few parts.
