Today's topic is a pretty useful one for any type of building in any theme, as it allows you to create 45 degree corners and extensions.

The second technique is by Don Rogerson and uses the headlight brick again, but this time to create an extension to the wall at 45 degrees. Regular 1x1 modified bricks with studs on the side are used to get the wedge plates flush with the corner and again, this shows minimal gaps.
