This week's favourite brick you may have been seen before; but did you know about the interesting connection is has with 1x1 plates?
The arch bricks is great for creating structure such as bridges, but it's even better when you realise 1x1 plates can be attached securely to the indentation in the underside of the piece. This connection is pretty strong, and considered by myself to be 'legal' as the pieces aren't under any stress. It can be used to give more detail to certain areas of your MOC, and has been used by the following builder's to do just that:
