#597 TECHNIQUES: Murky pond

Today we're bringing you a tutorial from the depths of Eurobricks, posted all the way back in 2011. This murky pond technique by Derfel Cadarn uses the perfect colours and parts to create part of his Medieval Village, and make sure to check out the post on Eurobricks here: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/60907-detailed-guide-to-building-a-medieval-village/

Start by creating the murky pond itself; this is made of dark green bricks that are placed sideways. Next, dark bluish grey slopes are added for rocks and brown plates and tiles are used to create contrasting colours. Finally, plants and other foliage are added to fill in the gaps and contrast to other duller colours, bringing the build to life!
