#626 TECHNIQUES: SNOT-hinge tree technique

Today we're breaking down an interesting tree technique by Carson Hart on Flickr. Check out his post here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/58252782@N06/20884369295/in/dateposted/

The technique uses a structure of SNOT or Studs Not On Top bricks in it's trunk, and from this plates and hinge plates are attached sideways. This allows you to create angled branches by using the hinges and attaching various leaf pieces, creating a great canopy effect.

The great thing about this design is it's simplicity; it should be nice and easy to build by following the tutorial. However, compared to other tree techniques it is quite part intensive, but we think it's worth it!
