#697 TECHNIQUES: Flexible net techniques

We've shared this technique before, but today we're looking at a few more applications for the versatile technique. It involves the net element, and uses various pieces to attach others and create a flexible surface.

It's been used to great effect in a cushion build by Brian Williams, who also finishes the edge of the cushion in a clever way; using 2x2 round plates with a flex tube connecting them. It's also great to use this technique as a roof, as has been done on Marcel V. He uses 2x2 inverted round tiles to connect 1x2 tiles and create the flexible roof that he then lays over a frame made from hinged plates.
