Today we're sharing an advanced dome technique by Lech Kulina on Flickr. It is pretty complicated, so we've more given an overview of the technique, but more details can be find on Lech's Flickr here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/147862201@N05/
The technique grossly simplified, and it has to be to fit into this post, involves a skeleton frame as shown of hinge bricks angled into a dome shape. From there, brick-built panels made of black pieces (hinges, plates and slopes) are attached, and then more black pieces are attached. If you are interested in more details, as we said above, go check out all the posts on Lech's Flickr as he goes into some good detail, but it's just interesting to see how much goes into a build like this.
