#718 TECHNIQUES: Making things fly!

Today we're discussing a fun topic: defying gravity and making things appear to fly in your MOCs.

The first example is a great use of a flex tube, bending and attaching it to clips to show the motion of Cap's shield. Unfortunately we couldn't find the original builder of the MOC but here is the static Flickr link: https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8746/17266396358_23448b8e76_z.jpg

The second example is from a MOC by Inthert, who uses the '12L bar with 1x2 plate' piece to position a TIE Fighter to appear as if it's floating. The long bar means it is very hard to see but provides enough support and reach for most applications. Check out his MOC here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/inthert/35790859020/in/photostream/?fbclid=IwAR316fcBTIdgb8PXhjjmk4oqx2hH5Ye1b3urp_2DTlhEkdYjJBgIHM1obCg
