#744 TECHNIQUES: Simple wall techniques

Walls are one of our favourite topics on this blog, but a lot of the techniques we share are complicated and require a lot of specialist pieces. These two techniques today use pieces you should have lying around and are easy to build yourself.

The first technique by Brother Steven simply uses two colours; red bricks and brown cylinders and plates. With this, a simple yet effective design is created; check out the post on Flickr here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/76437548@N04/21176081009/

The second technique by Chris Maddison uses more pieces, but for a stone wall you can't get much simpler (apart from just masonry bricks). To create the effect, modified bricks with studs are built into the tower, and then tiles are positioned. Check out the post on Flick here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/cmaddison/20368192549/
