#746 TECHNIQUES: The Lowell Sphere Method

A lot of technique are generic in their construction, but the Lowell Sphere is probably one of the most famous building techniques within the hobby. Created by Bruce Lowell in 2002, it uses an arrange of plates and jumper plates to construct a 3d shape as close to being spherical as possible. Many builders have used his technique, such as the pictured large scale globe by WWWally on LEGO Ideas :https://ideas.lego.com/projects/d287ef4e-cd1c-491d-8491-dca7de3204c5 . In his post, he also included pictures of how it was built and shared that he used a generator named Bram's Sphere Generator, which you can use too to create your own spherical creations:
