#753 TECHNIQUES: Layered lava technique

Today we're showing an awesome flowing lava technique by asokas_life on Instagram. Using a selection of transparent cheese slopes and tiles, a realistic effect can be created, with more detail added by including transparent black plates at the base showing where the lava has cooled and solidified. Also, it's worth knowing that with these transparent colours you can turn up the contrast in editing software as simple as PowerPoint to really make the colours pop, as has been done with the images.
