#889 TECHNIQUES: Winterfell techniques

Today we're looking at some of the techniques used in the gigantic Winterfell build by Playwell Bricks aka. Jason Pyett. If you haven't seen it before, make sure you check out his Flickr account here as this is only a tiny proportion of it: https://www.flickr.com/photos/playwell_bricks

When looking at the model you have to think of the complex techniques that must have been used to create such shapes, but when looking closer and at the interior you can see Jason uses very simple parts. For example, the roof technique is created with ball joints positioning the wedge plates and dishes hold these sections in place. The angled walls are done with 2x4 swivel plates and a variety of panels, slopes and tiles fill in any gaps.
