#93 Sunday's SET ANALYSIS: 21034 BB-8

Today we will look at a Star Wars set that is part of the most recent wave; BB-8. It features a lot of technic mechanisms and details to make for a great looking droid. Let's look at some of the techniques that are present in this set.

1. Technic gears - transfers motion to turn the head and perform functions by twisting side panels 2. Part use - rounded tiles and transparent parts give detail to the outer shell 3. Technic beams - hold up the inner structure and allow all 6 sides to have plates on 4. Technic bricks - position plates sideways and connect to the beams 5. Angling - using SNOT and hinged parts in the head to angle sensors
